My Work

I love the rawness of material, the rugged edges, the imperfections and texture that imply the passing of time. The images are created by layering photographs.  The process is a practice of trust.  Once I have layered the second print, I let go of control.  The images begin to have a relationship and a dialogue of their own.  I trust that the tears and the fails, are meant to guide me to the final print.  The images are meant to be abstract.  Through this process, I am trying to see into the photographs and bring out their essence.
